The Zeitgeist Movement
An international grass roots movement to unify the world by making use of the ideology of a Resource Based Economy. This ideology is based on the fundamentals of life and nature.
The immediate goal of the South African chapter is one of education and to this end that we have put together a dedicated team of volunteers in the form of a communications team. We have a few projects running and are looking for more people to share their knowledge and skills in different areas.

Cape Town Committee Forum Meeting
This meeting will be the first in a string of gatherings in order to form an official committee, and the creation of subcommittee’s within the Cape Town area. We will endeavor to identify targets and delivery mechanisms for these said targets. Priority number one right now is structure. The rest will follow in due course. The Zeitgeist Movement: Response to Occupy Wall Street
www.occupywallst.org On Sept 17th 2011, a grassroots expression of contempt was launched in the heart of the world’s financial center in lower Manhattan of New York City, also commonly known to the world as the institution of “Wall Street”. As of Sept 26th, there have been over 80 arrests and many recorded instances of what appears to be violence and abuse coming from the police and security forces there.
