The Zeitgeist Movement
An international grass roots movement to unify the world by making use of the ideology of a Resource Based Economy. This ideology is based on the fundamentals of life and nature.
The immediate goal of the South African chapter is one of education and to this end that we have put together a dedicated team of volunteers in the form of a communications team. We have a few projects running and are looking for more people to share their knowledge and skills in different areas.

Zday Venue has been moved.
NEWS UPDATE ON ZDAY JHB : Leafy Greens cannot accommodate us anymore because the group got too big. Plan B is to move the gathering to Golden Harvest Park near Northgate. People must just bring chairs coolerbox also a marquee could help too, and we’re good to go. The good news is that registrations have now re-opened cos there’s no limit on numbers. ZDay Johannesburg 16 March 2013
The inaugural event takes place on 16 March 2013 at Leafy Greens in Muldersdrift from 10am to 2pm. We are bringing people to speak on the subjects of sustainability, GM foods, and the banking system. This is the first event of its kind arranged by friends on Facebook who have never actually met in person. It’s the power of social media enabling people to connect and share information for the betterment of all people. Is Being a Patriot a Good Thing?
I am a proud South African. Unfortunately, this statement is selective. I am proud to be South African when my country shines on the sports field, and I am not proud when my country stands idly by as politicians mock an entire country, rape it’s economy and destroy it’s foreign relations. I am proudly South African when my country stands up out of the ashes of apartheid to show the world what peace and love really means, and I am ashamed when those who have stood now start fires of corruption, setting South Africa on a similar path to that

TZM T-Shirt Designs
A great way to spread awareness regarding TZM and it’s message is through the use of designs, quotes and branding on paraphernalia such as clothing (t-shirts, caps etc), bumper stickers, stamps etc. One thing I’ve noticed is that there is not a great deal of TZM paraphernalia out there. I have found a couple garment websites that have TZM branded clothing within their collection but these are expensive and defeat the point behind the movement (non-profit). To this end I would like to (eventually) create a site that would effectively be a TZM brand related platform. It would be completely profit free,

Culture in Decline: The New Web Series by Peter Joseph
Peter Joseph, original founder of The Zeitgeist Movement, and creator of the Zeitgeist film series, has given the world his next activist creation in the form of the first 30 minute episode of the web-series Culture in Decline. Very similar in content to his past films, the show takes a humorous and satirical look at the current system we are all living in and examines just how absurd and unsustainable it really is.

The New Economic Rights Alliance Sues Major SA Banks & Reserve Bank
The New Economic Rights Alliance is a community of people who are seeking transparency in the banking and corporate sector. The Sheriff of the Court has just served the four major banks, and the Reserve Bank, with a summons from the New Economic Rights Alliance: Case number 27478/12.
Put simply, the NewERA is asking the High Court to declare our money lending system fraudulent and unconstitutional. We are not suing for money. Alternatively, we are asking the Court to suspend all legal action currently taken against every South African by the banks, until a full investigation has been undertaken into our banking system.

This website’s aim is to inform and educate as many people as possible about the advancements and capabilities of science and technology in todays world. They’ve recently done an overhall of the site and it is looking fantastic!
