The Zeitgeist Movement: Response to Occupy Wall Street

www.occupywallst.org On Sept 17th 2011, a grassroots expression of contempt was launched in the heart of the world’s financial center in lower Manhattan of New York City, also commonly known to the world as the institution of “Wall Street”. As of Sept 26th, there have been over 80 arrests and many recorded instances of what appears to be violence and abuse coming from the police and security forces there. However, the protesters remain vigilant in what could very well be a landmark event that will resonate for some time to come. The Zeitgeist Movement would like to extend its public

    ‘Occupy Wall Street’ Turns Violent

The article below details the latest unfortunate events unfolding in the ‘Occupy Wall Street’ protests. It also brings up the lack of coverage the protests have been given. Speculation points to the fact that the protests have been peaceful and peaceful news is no news at all. However there’s another school of thought that says the mainstream news agencies aren’t covering these protests because, to a large extent, the people who own said news agencies exist within the walls of Wall Street itself and so we have a severe conflict of interest. Whatever the case is, make sure YOU spread the

A Brilliant Example of Media Manipulation

If one is not diligent in consciously seeking out all the facts it is far too easy to be fed disinformation and bias from our “trusted” media. Below is an article detailing the multitude of connections that many of the worlds leading sources of news and information share with those in political and monetary power. One must ask oneself just how honest and unbiased can any of these news sources really be? No doubt the same can be said for the South African media. I think this video clip clearly shows how one of the worlds largest news companies, CNN,

Your Bank Didn’t Loan You Any Money and They Can’t Take Your House… Technically.

We received an email recently from somebody asking about information regarding the case of Jerome Daly (as was described in Zeitgeist Addendum). Daly was sued by First National Bank of Montgomery in 1968 for foreclosure on his home because he had stopped paying his mortgage. He argued that he didn’t owe the bank anything on the basis that the bank never actually gave him any money and that the bank had effectively created the money (for the loan) out of thin air, and now he was expected to pay that money back from his own pocket when the money didn’t exist

“Be Your Own Leader” -Peter Joseph

Some call it a weakness in the movement, others call it a strength. Whatever your take on the leaderless structure of The Zeitgeist Movement is, one thing is clear, if there ever was a leader it would be Peter Joseph. In this excerpt from a Q&A he did back in 2008 he encourages everybody to be their own leader. I believe one of the biggest problems we face in current society is how everybody is looking to everybody else to take a stand, no one ever willing to stand up for what they know to be right in case they

    Int. Group Anonymous References TZM

This was posted at the end of last year (2010). A very nicely written piece about where we’re heading and what needs to happen. Only revolutionary thinking can save us now. People of the world, the time for petty conflict, and meaningless sentiments are over. The world is heading into a new age, as is obvious by the recent citizens revolt against the powers and shadow governments interests. Julian Assange has helped to show us that our lives have been fabricated and sold to us with interest, that we can never repay. Through this, we have found ourselves on the

TZM: Response to FBI targeting Political Activists as Terrorists

5 June, 2011 As many students of history are familiar, Galileo Galilei, famed mathematician & astronomer, known today by many as the “father of modern science”, was forced by the Catholic Church under threat of torture to recant his “heretical” view that the earth revolved around the sun and not vice versa in the 17th century. This scientifically valid idea voided long held religious dogma and hence challenged the Church’s integrity itself. In a letter from 1634, René Descartes, one of the world’s most noted thinkers and philosophers, stated: “Doubtless you know that Galileo was recently censored by the Inquisitors
