This meeting will be the first in a string of gatherings in order to form an official committee, and the creation of subcommittee’s within the Cape Town area. We will endeavor to identify targets and delivery mechanisms for these said targets. Priority number one right now is structure. The rest will follow in due course.

im all the way in port elizabeth lots of people going through a spiritual awakening over here.how does one come into contact with the founders of this group,can each on of us tske responsibility in our own area as active members of the the movement or do we have to discuss matters with a superior body before taking any action

We absolutely encourage people to take the initiative, especially in areas where they do not have any formal chapters/sub-chapters setup. We’ve received quite a few enquires as to whether there’s anything happening in the PE area and it would be great if you’d like to take on the responsibility of heading up the PE group. Ideally you can chat to us regarding any major developments you’d like to implement and we can brainstorm the best ways to implement them. You will have our backing 100%! Please PM me for further information on how to move forward (i.e. setting up FB groups, the website, etc).

A big thank you to everyone who particpated in tonights meeting. We have a long way to go but this it was the first committee meeting held and despite the back and forth I think we all got a lot out of it (now we just need to make sense of it). One thing is undeniable and that is everyones passion for change and evolution. David Bowman will make the meeting minutes public and I have posted the PDF document which was supplied to me by the Global Chapter Administrator which you will find below.
As mentioned these are the guidelines and suggestions set forth by the Global Chapter and I think it would be a good idea to understand them well ahead of our next committee meeting. It will go a long way in helping us to get better organised…

I will create another event for us, but this time I was thinking that we make it a bit more of a social one, perhaps a day time braai. Something a little less rushed and informal, an environment where we can be relaxed and inspired to be creative.

Hiinteresting reading some of the respones regarding the meeting and would have like to have been a part of it glad to see we’re unifying with common human purpose in good ol cape town, onwards and forward guys,cheers for now

We have watched the Zeitgeist videos (first and addendum) and it all rings true …. we are and have been cast outs all our lives …so why change “the winning combination”… and conform. We both have rigid understandings/views and beliefs and would like to know who we can contact(one on one) to hear the “Zeitgeist” points of views on certain ideas so we can find the common ground before we make a commitment and get more involved.
